STAR WARS!

Grandma Langford recreated the planet of Mustafar overflowing with lava showing the dramatic and fateful confrontation between Obi-wan and Anakin that led to the transformation of the dreaded Darth Vader. It was so real you could feel the heat from the lava!

Colonial Girl

Kaylee is fascinated with history especially early American times, so we bought her a colonial costume for her birthday. She wore it this weekend when we attended a 1800 reenactment at Poway Park. On our steam engine trainride a dusty rough band of robbers tried to take over the train. The courageous sheriff jumped off the train, skilfully took out the red-banded robbers and saved the day! Kaylee had a chance to sew on a 1800's sewing machine and stitch a few quilting knots on a quilt for Iraq soldiers.

The Youngest Fan

Trent has to be the youngest Star Wars fan out there. He loves R2D2 and sings the Darth Vader song. Here he is watching the movie with his light saber!
